TEACHER’S DAY

Teacher’s Day is always a much looked forward to day at NiBS. In keeping with the Smile Initiative launched this year, the day dawned with a big, bright smile for each one of us. A beautiful and colourful bag full of goodies was hand delivered to our doorsteps…!
Though we were confined to our homes, the online celebrations turned the occassion into a unique event.
The day commenced with students greeting their gurus and parents exhibiting their own talents to entertain the team. It was heart-warming to watch them go the extra mile to express their gratitude and acknowledge the efforts of Team NiBS.
The icing on the cake was the musical tribute to the faculty by Hitesh Madan of the much loved band, Eka. From Sufi and Bollywood music to a self-composed song on SMILE, the lilting music saw the teachers swaying with their eyes shinning bright and faces lit with wide smiles.
It was indeed a day that sparked many an everlasting smile…
