A heady mix of Art and Math
Class VII students, while exploring Cubism as an art movement, began with a tangram exercise. Studying the geometric properties of a tangram, the students related their findings to the Cubism art movement.
Newspapers were used to cut out shapes following the Cubists who recycled material and used magazines and other discarded material in their work, which was later termed as Synthetic Cubism.
